Gunner & Chloe’s Perfect Chapter

Some love stories just feel fated, and Gunner and Chloe's is definitely one of them. These high school sweethearts ventured onto separate paths for a few years, but their journey back to each other beautifully illustrates that some bonds are simply meant to be. Being around them is always a treat; maybe I'm biased since they're such good friends of my fiancé and me, but their love just clicks. They're always giggling and laughing together—a truly natural harmony.

Keeping it "Them"

Our main goal for Gunner and Chloe's engagement session was to capture them exactly as they are, so our first stop was their beloved east side Lafayette pub. They shared cocktails and played a round of pool, and I simply documented the candid moments. There was plenty of genuine laughter, especially when Gunner tried to "flirt" with Chloe as if they'd just met—his clumsy efforts were hilarious and made me question his initial charm! It was an easy, authentic start, perfectly highlighting their connection.

Fields of Joy

Later that evening, we headed to Prophetstown State Park. A wide-open space where we captured some dreamy, romantic photos – and, of course, let their adorable dog join in the fun! While I offered some gentle guidance on posing and direction, my absolute favorite moments unfolded in between. Those sweet, stolen kisses, the bursts of laughter as they tried to get their pup to sit – these are the snippets of their story that truly steal the show.
